Promote or disseminate harmful, abusive, or unlawful content, including hate speech or harassment
Operate high-risk or abusive services, including open proxies, TOR exit nodes, unauthorised bots, or cryptocurrency mining without approval
Interfere with the normal functioning of our services or consume excessive system resources in a manner that disrupts other users. Excessive use includes but is not limited to sustained CPU, RAM, or bandwidth consumption beyond your plan’s limits, or causing noticeable degradation to other users’ performance.

2. Content Guidelines

You are responsible for all content stored, hosted, or transmitted using your account. This includes websites, databases, scripts, files, and any applications.

Content must not:

Be fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful
Encourage or promote criminal activity or violence
Include pornography or explicit material
Infringe upon the rights or privacy of others, including individuals or organisations

3. Security Responsibilities

You must take reasonable steps to secure your hosting environment. This includes:

Keeping all installed software, plugins, and themes updated
Using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) where available
Avoiding outdated, vulnerable, or unsupported applications
Responding promptly to abuse reports or detected vulnerabilities

Security is a shared responsibility between ScaleFair and the customer. We encourage all users to remain vigilant and proactive.

4. Email and Messaging

You may not use our services to:

Send unsolicited marketing emails ("spam") or unauthorised bulk messages
Forge headers, sender identities, or manipulate domain names to mislead recipients
Operate mailing lists without prior consent from all recipients
Host open SMTP relays or bulk mailers without written approval from ScaleFair

5. Enforcement and Reporting

We reserve the right to monitor network traffic and investigate any suspected breaches of this Policy. Action may include issuing warnings, restricting access, suspending services, or terminating accounts.

We may suspend or restrict services without notice in cases of serious violations or security threats. In other instances, we will aim to issue a warning and work with you to resolve the issue.

All reports are reviewed internally, and enforcement measures are applied proportionately, based on the nature and severity of the breach.

We may cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities as required by law, including disclosing account information where legally obligated.
